The new campus in Viganello integrates harmoniously into the urban fabric. The six-story SUPSI building faces south toward Via La Santa, while the five-story USI building is oriented west toward the Cassarate River. Together, they form a central square in the southwest, marking the entrance to both schools and the park to the north. They are connected by a three-story structure housing shared facilities. Generous open spaces, tree clusters, and seating areas create an inviting atmosphere. Distinct building orientations and façade designs give each university a clear identity, resulting in a compact, functional, and ecological campus offering diverse uses for both students and residents.
