As a compact building, the 'open heart' of the Rotkreuz municipality is positioned close to the post office building to the south. This arrangement frees up the western Dorfmatt square as a shared public space while also creating the new 'Bahnhofplatz' as a generous connection to the cantonal school and the sports park. — Jury report, Municipality of Risch, 2025
The first stone has been laid for the Sonnenberg swimming pool in Engelberg. From now on, the new swimming pool will become more visible week by week. As part of the current work, a shaft with wastewater heat recovery will be installed. This system extracts heat from wastewater (e.g., from showers) and feeds it into the building's circulation system, which can cover around half of the pool's future heat demand.
Reopening of Jean Tschumi’s main building after renovation

The Oasis project for the further development of the Sunnegrund school site in Steinhausen wins the open competition.
Two cleverly positioned buildings offer flexible learning, sports and leisure facilities. The compact design allows for large-scale green structures and diverse recreational zones that harmoniously interweave the Sunnegrund school site with the surrounding nature. The different uses are distributed across two buildings: The western building houses the triple gymnasium, the supplementary childcare facilities and classrooms. The indoor swimming pool is located in the northern pavilion.
The ice rink follows the architectural idea of a solid base with an attached, transparent, luminous crown. This not only creates an exciting concept for the interior and exterior of the building, but also provides a suitable response to the completely different boundary conditions for the various uses and users.
