0115Sierre Station

The project for the redesign of the southern station area in Sierre clearly structures the urban and green surroundings. A platform marks the northern edge and separates the city and station area from the park. Implemented in three stages: first, a parking facility and bus terminal with good connections to platforms and the underground car park; next, a school building and sports hall, partly embedded in the terrain, with flexible use and public spaces; finally, an extended parking facility. Architecture and traffic planning ensure safety, clear routes, and unobstructed views to the south. The compact school building, with a glass façade and rounded corners, blends harmoniously into the topography and urban fabric.
