At the site of the existing theatre, the task was to find a solution for a significantly expanded multi-genre operation comprising opera, drama, and dance, while taking into account the urbanistically prominent yet sensitive location.
The proposed new building aligns the stage level with the street level, allowing an accessible, open-minded "stage for all" to emerge.
