0303Vocational training campus Sulgen

At the edge of Sulgen, the new vocational training campus complements the existing training center of the Thurgau Master Builders Association located across the street. Two buildings connected by wide overhanging roofs separate noisy and quiet areas. The representative main building opens with an atrium and cafeteria towards the landscape, while the workshop building is functionally organized. An internal promenade links the entrances, surrounded by extensive green spaces with fruit trees and species-rich meadows. Traffic flow separates vehicles from pedestrians. Flexible timber-frame structures allow easy room modifications. Expansions are easily achievable by mirroring the workshop building and expanding the underground parking.
