For the largest building fair worldwide, the task was to design an exhibition booth that would remain in memory as a highlight while conveying a clear corporate design message, at the same time providing a place of contemplation within the hectic activity of the trade fair. Integrated into the booth, the ideas and products of Wicona are meant to be both perceptible and touchable. The exhibition booth appears as a monumental volume with massive ‘pillars’ that enclose a protected interior space.

The four entrances, one on each side, facilitate views into and through the structure, while the pillars accommodate the necessary ancillary rooms. The extensive wall surfaces provide ample space for the presentation, carried out as striking, uniform graphic design. Down to the smallest detail, the colour concept sheathes the booth in red and white, thereby pulling the rooms together.
